Andovar is proud to announce the launch of a specialized division and a new website devoted to gaming localization. The gaming industry continues to evolve and now there are more and more ways to access games. In the past, games were confined to bulky desktop computers and dedicated video consoles, and were played mostly by the teenage and young man demographic. In recent years, games have been liberated and became accessible to everyone, anytime and anywhere: on smartphones, tablets, as well as integrated into social network sites. This process will continue for the foreseeable future and we will soon find games anywhere we go.
At Andovar, we stay on top of these changes and provide turnkey localization services for all devices and formats. Building on the foundation of many years of experience in translating content for a variety of industries, we started to work on game localization several years ago, and saw success on high-profile projects such as World of Tanks. We take advantage of the latest technology in content management to handle even very high volumes of text and efficiently extract assets, as is often the case in Massive Online Multiplayer Games. We have now decided to pool our gaming localization resources together and set up a separate division dedicated to the gaming industry only.
